Flying the friendly skies
This takes flying to totally hilarious new heights. What would you do if they showed this safety video on your 14 hour flight to Frankfurt? Or if your flight attendant was like this - Watch more of Pam Ann here.

Strike a pose
I'm really hating this picture right now.

This was taken at the Nokia Music-sponsored Godskitchen event last August 8th.
I'm guessing there could be several reasons why she posed this way:
1. She recently had laser hair removal on her pits - either its still sensitive or she wants to show it off.
2. Her bracelet/ring got tangled in her hair
3. She wants to prove that the whitening deodorant she's been using for the past 6 weeks is effective.
4. She feels hot (temperature-wise)
5. A tacky outfit calls for a tacky pose.

Golden umbrella
I used to like this song before half of Manila thought the same. And definitely before it had a local version. I saw this in Chuvaness' blog and thought it's too amusing to not share. Obviously, someone didn't do her homework and study the song.

Temptation Island
When Ronald first told us about the 1980 Joey Gosengfiao film Temptation Island, I thought he was kidding. How can the dialogue be that stupid, I thought. But apparently when the film was made, the script made so much sense to the writer and the audience. Naturally, if you watch it now you'll find the lines extremely hilarious. How can you NOT break into non stop laughter?
The flick stars Dina Bonnevie, Deborah Sun, Jennifer Cortez, Bambi Arambulo, and Azenith Briones who all joined the Miss Manila Sunshine Contest. As part of the semi finals, they board a yacht and go on a cruise. The yacht catches fire and the four ladies, the gay pageant organizer (who manages to keep his white suit immaculately clean and wrinkle free throughout the entire ordeal), and three men jump ship and get stranded on a deserted island. While in the island, they catch fish using panty house, dance out of sheer boredom and hunger, but eventually get saved when become cannibals and chomp on the gay guy.
So, if by some stroke of bad luck you get stuck on an island, all you need to do is barbecue a gay person and you get saved.
thanks to Hey Jay for the clips!
It's being sold in the Regal Films website for $16!

Laughter is the best medicine
In a trip to Australia, I watched a seriously hilarious TV programme called The Sketch Show which is a British comedy show. After watching and getting a really good ab workout from laughing nonstop, I have since enjoyed British humor because of its seamless, natural, and not-trying-hard delivery as compared to American comedy or Pinoy slapstick comedy (which is really just plain dumb). The Catherine Tate Show is also a must-see. She is a British comedy actress who is famous for the two characters she plays, a teenager named Lauren Cooper, and a cockney grandmother named Joannie "Nan" Taylor. But what I loved the most about her sketches is the Aga Saga Series, where she plays an upper class English woman who goes into a state of shock in various, seemingly harmless, situations. For example she receives a phone call from her husband's business associate and has to tell her children that "daddy hasn't been able to find any good brie" on his business trip to France, thereby jeopardising the school fete, and panics at the thought of having to use a dishwasher or go shopping herself, instead calling on her housekeeper.
