I watched the Stand Up To Cancer telethon last night in AXN. It was a super star studded shebang with Jennifer Aniston, Halley Berry, those guys from Lost,The Simpsons, and Mrs. Ben Affleck (her name escapes me) reading inspiring messages from cancer survivors. Why don't they ever have things like that here in Manila? Like, Drive Dengue Away or Kiss Hepa Goodbye? Must it always be whenever there's a national calamity? Anyway, artists like Beyonce, Mariah, Rihanna, and Mary J. Blige joined vocal forces and sang this song with proceeds of the record going to the benefit. I never knew Miley Cyrus' voice can be soooooooooo annoying. Of course, if they did the same here, you'll have every singer trying to outsing each other like the way they do in ASAP, SOP, or whatever noon time show there is on Sunday - who can end the song with the highest pitch, longest breath, etc.
