World of fun but no sun

Of all the days the clouds decided to block the sun, it just had to be this weekend. Why couldn't it have been overcast all of last week when it felt like a rerun of summer? It was bright and partially sunny when we arrived in Tali but then a huge dark cloud decided to park right above us and stayed there all afternoon. It was also very windy. Like hurricane Katrina windy. But the sunless sky didn't stop the kids from playing tag in the jacuzzi/kiddie pool. "Arianna catches Amarene, Amarane catches Arianna," Alfonso said. "Who will catch you?" asked Arianna. It wasn't much of a challenge because they were all right in front of each other. The game was over in 2 seconds. "Let's play stay in the pool forever!" said Amarene. Meanwhile, the older set retreated to the bedrooms to nap and watch Sound of Music and search for junk food and sweets to gorge on while singing along to Sixteen Going on Seventeen. Others played with Matthew, the happiest lil boy in the world. And as always, the clouds disappeared and the sun came out just as it does every time we leave the beach.
